Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data is processed when you visit buy-or-bye.de. No user accounts are created and no payment data is collected.

Server log files

When you access the site, the hosting provider (IONOS) processes technically necessary access data (including the file requested, the time, the volume of data transferred and the requesting provider). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Redirect & click tracking (/go/ links)

When you click an affiliate link via /go/<casino>, we log — for attribution and abuse prevention — the casino slug, any campaign parameters, the time, the referrer, the user agent and your IP address solely as an irreversible SHA-256 hash (the plain-text IP is not stored). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in accounting for and analysing our recommendations. You are then redirected to the casino, where that operator's own privacy policy applies.

Age confirmation (local storage)

Your “18+” confirmation is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key bob_age_ok) so the prompt does not reappear on every visit. This value never leaves your device and is not used for tracking.

Fonts

The site loads web fonts (Google Fonts); in doing so your IP address may be transmitted to Google. If this is to be avoided, the fonts can be self-hosted — this is at the operator's discretion.
